Tyler Square serves twenty-seven families enrolled in the Family Life Program who want to make the transition to permanent housing, eventually resulting in a permanent solution to homelessness.

Services include case management, on-site basic skills and family literacy classes, GED test and college preparation, healthcare and counseling, employment prep., life management skills, and clean and sober living.

The Family Life Program is guided by the following values:

  • We are committed to developing self-esteem and self-reliance, essential for the on-going transition to independent living and for participation in one's community.
  • We provide support for the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being and development of every adult and child who enters this program.
  • We recognize that because people are social beings, supportive communities are essential for empowering and healing the individual person.
To apply for the Family Life Program, you must meet the qualifications listed on the client profile. You must supply all the necessary identification, and personally deliver your application to Tyler Square. We will set up an interview with you, where you can meet the Director and Case Managers. After their interview, we will call you to let you know if you have been accepted into the program. Once you have been accepted, we will let you know your move-in date based on unit availability.
