Programs & Facilities / Culinary Program

Bates Technical College has designed a Culinary Program specifically for the Tacoma Rescue Mission.

We have worked it out with BTC to allow 4 people in our New Life Program can join the Custom Culinary School. It is 342 hours of instruction time which ends up being about 6 months. The attendees graduate with a certificate & from there are able to teach at the college or go on to further their career in catering.

Our students walk in the graduation along with the students of Bates Technical College.
