Sometimes the lines blur when we love our work so much and truly enjoy our fellow leaders. Some days...work feels like fun! If we have the privilege to work in the "sweet spot" of our God given gifts and talents our work can be energizing and most fulfilling. But it is still work!

There is power in maintaining balance and frequent refueling of our spirit. But I find that it often takes as much effort as work does. Even our most enjoyable relationships take effort. And our relationship with Jesus takes time...and focus.

I have discovered it is so important to treasure the simple pleasures of life with those we love and the sweet times of restoritive solitude.

I have discovered it is so important to be purposeful in making precious little memories. Even the most simple of everyday events can be special and meaningful with a some forethought.

I have discovered the art of breathing in...and exhaling out! That's right...it is an art! It is magical! It cleans out the complexities of stressful cobwebs, both real and imaginary! And lingers like the fragrance of fresh blossoms on a breezy spring day. In the presence of Jesus it heals and renews.

I have discovered I have nothing to give those I serve, unless I am continually being filled.
