We have had such a great response to our need for food this year, and we are thankful for everyone who “stepped up to the plate” and made sure that everyone can have a great Thanksgiving meal. Here is a link to a Wed. 26th blog entry in the Tribune on two such donors: http://blogs.thenewstribune.com/street/2008/11/26/turkey_ladies_return_with_food_for_the_t

The out pouring from our community and neighbors is amazing. I love the fact that we not only meet desperate needs through their generosity, but their participation enables us to make precious Holiday memories for bright eyed little children and their families. That is priceless!
What a wonderful couple of women! While some folks battle with stress during the holidays, these ladies have found a wonderful way of ensuring their holiday is centered in meaningful giving and gratitude. Batman and Robin have nothing on these two local heroes! Blessings to you both!!!
